You can create recurring appointments with or without a project, or directly from a quote. All you need to do is create an appointment as usual and set your chosen interval at which the appointment should be repeated.
Set the start date and interval
First, enter a title – this will be used for all subsequent appointments as well. Then, select the date and time for the first appointment. Note that all recurring appointments are automatically repeated on an ongoing basis. You don’t need to specify an end date, only a time for when the first appointment should end.
Example 1: You have received an order to clean the offices of Example Ltd. every working day from 09:00 to 11:30 starting on October 7th. Select October 7th for the start and end dates. Finally, set the duration of the task to 09:00 and 11:30.
Example 2: You also have an order from SampleMan that starts every Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Sundays at 6:00 p.m. beginning on October 12th. Select October 12th as the start date and October 13th as the end date. Enter 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the time fields.
Here, you can choose the frequency with which the appointment should be repeated by clicking on "Does not repeat". You have the choice between: Daily, Weekdays, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, Half-yearly, Yearly.
Fill in the other fields as usual and click “Save” in the top right-hand corner. You can access your recurring appointments, if you need to make any changes, easily from the project or from the customer profile.
Deleting recurring appointments
If you want to delete all recurring appointments from a certain date, click on the three dots next to the first appointment and select "Delete all recurring appointments". The selected appointment and all subsequent appointments will then be deleted. You can also delete individual appointments using the three dots.
Editing recurring appointments
To edit an appointment, simply click on the appointment, make your changes and save them. Please note that you can only edit individual appointments and not all appointments in a series. If you need to make a change for all appointments, delete the entire series and just create it again with the desired changes.
